  • Suggested Motion:

    THAT, the agenda be adopted as amended.

  • Suggested Motion:

    THAT, the Committee of the Whole meeting minutes of March 24, 2026, be approved as circulated.

  • Suggested Motion:

    THAT, the communications dated April 14th, 2026 be received as information.

  • Suggested Motion:

    THAT, Council passes the necessary motion to endorse the recommended Township conditions of draft approval for Draft Plan of Subdivision Application 09-T-25004, on lands described as Lot 16, Concession 6, geographic Township of Lanark, now in the Township of Lanark Highlands;

    AND THAT, this motion be brought forward for consideration at the Council meeting on 14 April 2026.

  • Suggested Motion:

    THAT, Council receives the 2025 Integrity Commissioner Annual Report as information;

    AND THAT, Council directs staff to post the report to the Township’s website.

  • Suggested Motion:

    THAT, Council approve the equalization of waste management charges for all users, except for village curbside collection which will be based on village property counts, and

    FURTHER THAT The $12,211 for IC&I blue-box pickup be incorporated into the waste management charges for an additional $3.23 on all properties.

  • Suggested Motion:

    THAT, Council receive Staff Report #RDS-2026-28 as information regarding the control of noxious weeds within the Township of Lanark Highlands.

    AND THAT, Council approve the proposed application of ClearView™ for the 2026 spray program, as recommended by the County ensuring that the application prode for accuracy of spraying.

    AND FURTHER THAT, Council accept the proposed list of roads for noxious weed inspection and control (mowing, pulling, and spraying) as presented within Staff Report #RDS-2026-28.

    AND FURTHER THAT, Council accept the proposed No Spray Agreement templates appended to this report for the 2026 weed control program.

  • Suggested Motion:

    THAT, Council receive Staff Report #WST-2026-20 as information;

    AND THAT, Council authorize staff to award the request for proposal (RFP) number PW-2026-01 – Landfill Monitoring and Engineering (4-year contract) to R.J. Burnside & Associates Limited for $131,301.71 (inclusive of non-recoverable HST, 2026 year costing);

    AND FURTHER THAT, the Manager of Public Works report back to Council with an update on waste management and proposed landfilling engineering work as it progresses.

    THAT, the Council Committee Appointment Updates (verbal) be received as information.
